Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral & Mental Health - FT nights

Registered Nurse (RN) position for Behavioral & Mental Health team, working night shifts, with a focus on providing expert patient care, crisis prevention, and de-escalation techniques.

Requirements

• One year of psychiatric or behavioral health experience in the medical field
• Or one year of experience as a clinical nurse in a medical inpatient/emergency department setting working with pediatric and adolescent patient populations
• Bachelor of Science in nursing
• 2-3 years of clinical nurse experience
• Experience in the emergency room setting
• Knowledge of normal/abnormal growth and development throughout the age continuum
• Previous experience with crisis management and de-escalation techniques and strategies
• Experience with and knowledge of the assessment, management and treatment of behavioral health patients
