Job Description
The Barrel Manufacturing Technician is an entry-level position responsible for operating machines, maintaining part quality, and performing tasks in a machine shop. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, driven to learn a skilled trade, and detail-oriented.
Requirements
- Operate various CNC mills and lathes
- Maintain part quality
- Keep work area & machines clean and organized
- Change out damaged/worn tools as necessary to maintain part quality
- Clocks in and out of Work Orders accurately recording production numbers
- Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects
- Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs
- Maintains a safe and clean workstation
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
