Faculty - Middle School - Computer Science

Christian Academy of Knoxville is seeking a dedicated and spiritually sensitive teacher to teach middle school computer science courses. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging instruction, developing course objectives, and collaborating with teachers and staff to strengthen the school community.

Requirements

• Teach middle school computer science courses across 6th, 7th, and 8th grades
• Deliver engaging instruction through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on experiments
• Develop course objectives and outlines aligned with state and school curriculum standards
• Assign lessons, evaluate student work, and provide timely feedback
• Maintain accurate attendance records and foster a disciplined classroom environment
• Meet with parents to discuss student progress and concerns
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and educational conferences
• Support extracurricular activities, student organizations, and academic counseling
