Property Underwriter

The Property Underwriter is responsible for negotiating with brokers, examining insurance proposals, and assessing risk involved. The role involves analyzing information, negotiating deals, and interacting with brokers, customers, and management.

Requirements

• Examine insurance proposals and gather background information
• Underwrite business in accordance with corporate guidelines
• Negotiate deals with Insurance brokers, reinsurance broker and/or agents
• Analyze and monitor new business received through brokers and renewal accounts
• Keep track of monthly production goals and register bound accounts correctly
