Forensic Scientist IV

CICONIX, LLC is seeking a Forensic Scientist IV to provide scientific support within casework sections or non-casework sections. The role involves assisting in program maintenance, supervising staff, conducting DNA typing investigations, and providing expert testimony. Responsibilities include preparing reports, maintaining quality assurance, and performing general laboratory housekeeping.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in biology, chemistry, forensic science, or a related discipline
• Twelve (12) semesters or equivalent credit hours covering biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, and statistics or population genetics
• Twelve (12) semester or equivalent credit hours including at least three (3) semesters or equivalent or multiple semesters.
• Minimum of three (3) years of forensic DNA laboratory experience
• Minimum of three (3) years of human DNA experience as a qualified analyst
• Experience in filing techniques, administrative typing, and data entry
