Job Description
As a Mixed Signal ASIC Test Engineer at Ciena, you will develop test solutions for high-speed mixed-signal ASICs, collaborate with designers and systems teams, and optimize test programs to improve yield and reduce test times. You will also investigate low yield results, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of proven experience in a Test Engineering role including hands-on experience with Advantest V93K ATEs and their various instruments
- Strong programming background (C++, Java, and Python)
- Proven expertise in writing and debugging ATE test programs
- Experience with data analysis software in support of yield reporting and test limit setting
- Knowledge in testing high-speed datacom integrated circuits (TIAs, Drivers) is highly desirable
