Patient Financial Advisor

Citizens Health is recruiting a Financial Counselor to work full-time in our Financial Services department. The position involves coordinating payment plans for patients, finding resources for insurance or other payment sources, and assisting patients to understand expected costs for upcoming procedures.

Requirements

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Interpersonal/human relations skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service skills
• Ability to respond to questions in a tactful and professional manner
• Ability to make basic numerical calculations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to type and operate personal computer
• Ability to maintain accuracy
• Ability to interpret accounts and records
