Job Description
The City of Baltimore is seeking a Building Performance Specialist to conduct on-site inspections of new building construction or renovation projects. The successful candidate will have five years of experience in one of the building trades or in building and construction inspection work or lead abatement inspection.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a GED certificate
- Five years of experience in one of the building trades or in building and construction inspection work or lead abatement inspection
- Certification as a Risk Assessor issued by the Maryland Department of the Environment
- BPI HEP Quality Control Inspector (QCI) Certification and BPI HEP Energy Auditor (EA) Certification within 12 months of employment
