Recreation Leader II - Baltimore City Recreation and Parks

The Recreation Leader II assists the Recreation Center Director in coordinating, planning, administrating, supervising and conducting recreational and cultural programs at a recreation center and/or pool.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a GED certificate
• Three years of experience in leading recreation activities
• Knowledge of the rules and regulations of a wide variety of sports, games and recreational activities
• Knowledge of basic first-aid techniques
• Knowledge of the use and care of recreational equipment
• Ability to plan and organize recreational activities
• Ability to work effectively with large groups of people
• Ability to maintain discipline and order
• Ability to maintain records
