Municipal Worker 2 - Landfill - Seasonal

The Municipal Worker 2 provides guidance and information to customers on how to properly dispose of their waste, assists in running the Landfill smoothly, and maintains a safe environment in the Landfill’s day to day operations.

Requirements

• Highschool Diploma (GED) or equivalency
• Minimum one year of previous experience in a related field
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License registered in Alberta or Saskatchewan with an acceptable Driver’s Abstract
• Ability to lift 44 lbs
• Intermediate computer skills
• Basic knowledge of operating heavy equipment (Loader/Dozer/Compactor/Tandem Truck)
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• High standard of confidentiality
