Part-Time Auditorium Sound and Light Technician

The City of Ottawa is recruiting for a Part-Time Auditorium Sound and Light Technician. This position is responsible for setting up sound and lights for events at Ottawa Memorial Auditorium. Work will require varying hours for event production, including significant night and weekend hours.

Requirements

• Sets appropriate sound levels with artists, sets up related equipment, operates/supervises all board operations.
• Attend and participate in technical rehearsals and performances.
• Serve as a backstage sound technician when appropriate.
• May design lighting effects and set cues for events.
• Assist organizing all sound equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
