Job Description
The Senior Engineer, Strategic Asset Management is responsible for managing the staff, organization, operation and work plan of the Strategic Asset Management Section. The role contributes to the development of Unit budgets, strategic and operational plans, leads Unit based projects, and provides asset management and operational support to the Program Manager, as required.
Requirements
- Completion of 4 year university degree in Engineering or Applied Science from a recognized university, preferably in a Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Municipal Engineering related discipline
- Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible and direct practical experience in asset management best practices and applications, strategic business planning, engineering planning and rehabilitation of municipal assets
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
