Job Description
This is an advanced professional work in the interpretation of statements between two or more persons conversing in English and the employee's language specialty. The employee is responsible for communicating in a manner most easily understood and preferred, and must maintain confidentiality of information acquired during interpretation session.
Requirements
- AOPC Certified Court Interpreter or reciprocity from another State certifying authority
- Two to four years of experience providing interpreter / translator services in a judicial setting
- Must successfully complete a criminal background investigation
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position
