Job Description
Somerville Parks and Recreation is seeking a Recreation Laborer Aide to oversee recreational activities year-round, including youth programs. The role involves setting up event spaces, assisting counselors, and ensuring high-quality programming for children, adults, seniors, and other special citizens. The Aide will also interact with the community and report any issues.
Requirements
- 0-1+ years of experience interacting with people of diverse backgrounds
- 16+ years of age
- First Aid/CPR and AED training provided
- Knowledge of park and recreation activities, rules, and techniques
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
