The Manager Health Equity will lead the development and implementation of Toronto Public Health policies and strategies to reduce health inequities in the city.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in a professional discipline relevant to the job function or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in leading and developing health equity and Indigenous health programs in a large public sector organization(s).
- Experience in community engagement and relationship-building with Indigenous communities.
- Experience in public policy development, program planning and evaluation, and project management.
- Excellent strategic thinking skills in addition to research, analytical and conflict resolution skills.
