Performs skilled and semi-skilled work in maintaining and servicing water collection, distribution systems, and wastewater operations.

Requirements

• Specializes in maintenance duties, such as construction tasks, equipment repairs, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of the municipal water system
• Studies maintenance manuals and applies repair strategies
• Monitors and calibrates various instruments and equipment used in water treatment
• Awareness of the impact of decisions as they relate to regulatory compliance
• Available for emergency work; evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Capable of covering shifts for other employees as needed
