Job Description
CEC is seeking an Air Quality Engineer/Scientist to assist clients with air quality permits, expansions, and compliance. The role involves both field and office work, focusing on meteorological monitoring, emissions testing, and regulatory form completion, including understanding environmental regulations. Experience with emissions inventory calculations and air permit application preparation is crucial.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related fields
- 5-8 years' consulting, compliance, or industry experience
- Knowledge of OH, PA, WV Regulations, and USEPA air quality regulations
- Knowledge of New Source Review procedures
- Familiarity with air compliance needs of the natural gas, manufacturing, or power industries
- Dispersion modeling experience using AERMOD
