Job Description
CEC is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team. The role involves geotechnical subsurface investigations, design, and problem-solving related to real estate development, power plants, and landfill sites. The geotechnical engineer will coordinate drilling, sample collection, laboratory testing, and prepare reports, and construction materials testing for earthwork and concrete.
Requirements
- 5-15 years of Consulting Geotechnical Engineering experience
- Professional Engineer registration
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering (M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering preferred)
- Coordination or monitoring of subsurface drilling
- Development and interpretation of laboratory testing programs
- Performing geotechnical analyses and design
- Report preparation
