Job Description
CEC is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to support in-office and field activities related to solid waste landfill and transfer station facilities. Interns will gain practical experience applying classroom knowledge and collaborate with professionals on projects like stormwater management, leachate modeling, and landfill gas generation. They will also interact with clients, contractors, and CEC offices.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering program
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets
- Valid driver’s license
- Local candidate preferred
