Job Description
Responsible for the accurate and timely filing of State and Local Gross Receipts Tax, State & Local Excise Tax, NYC Commercial Rent Tax and PUC Levy Returns. Analyze financial data to prepare tax returns and investigate new return requirements. Formulate annual drivers to mitigate Gross Receipts Tax budget and perform special projects as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, related field or equivalent experience
- State and local tax compliance with an emphasis in state tax laws and regulations
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
