Job Description
An Optical Technician will provide exceptional patient experience, dispensing and fitting glasses and contacts. The role requires collaboration with optometrists and ophthalmologists to meet patient needs. The position involves dispensing medications and maintaining an organized work environment.
Requirements
- Previous medical office experience preferred
- Previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of 1 year in interacting with customers/patients or equivalent education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, carrying, and reaching
