The Maintenance Manager manages and coordinates all maintenance-related activities of a non-automated or automated facility while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Manage, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset life
- Implement and ensure compliance with all fire, safety, risk, environmental and health and safety programs
- Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work
- Manage, plan and schedule maintenance workload
- Develop and ensure adherence to annual budgets for labor and materials
- Review monthly reports, discuss results, and provide creative solutions to achieve goals
- Collaborate with management to create schedule for planned maintenance events and work directly with all automation vendors during the hardware and software commissioning process
- Provide recommendations on future capital expenditure projects for the assigned projects and ensure timely completion
- Manage all projects for production maintenance to work within production timelines
- Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance on existing and future equipment
- Develop and maintain current inventory of equipment
- Provide guidance on the design and management of future automation project work
- Develop ROI's for existing equipment
- Performs other duties as assigned
