Clean Harbors is seeking a Data Governance & AI Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade data and AI platforms. This role requires deep technical expertise in data engineering and strategic leadership in data governance and AI architecture, focusing on scalability, security, and ethical alignment. The ideal candidate will be a systems thinker capable of bridging business needs with technical execution.

Requirements

• Design and evolve modern data architectures (data lakehouses, data mesh, real-time streaming systems).
• Lead the development of scalable data pipelines and integration frameworks.
• Collaborate with data governance teams to embed policies and standards.
• Ensure data lineage, metadata management, and data quality.
• Architect end-to-end AI/ML platforms.
• Implement MLOps best practices for model lifecycle management.
• Partner with cybersecurity and legal teams to ensure data and AI systems meet security and ethical standards.
• Mentor data engineers and ML engineers.
