Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our Summer 2026 program in La Porte, TX. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and insights into the Environmental-Industrial Waste Management Industry, Process Safety Management (PSM) principles, and the mechanical integrity program.
Requirements
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Mechanical Integrity Program
- Learn about corrosion mechanisms and participate in corrosion monitoring and mitigation activities
- Gain exposure to Process Safety Management (PSM) principles, including the Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) process, Management of Change (MOCs), Operating Procedures, Incident Investigation, and other elements of PSM
- Take initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including the pillars of Process Safety Management (PSM)
