We're looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Engineering Supervisor to manage a team of energy engineers and energy analysts, oversee performance, and provide strategic guidance.
Requirements
- Act as direct manager for a team of energy engineers and energy analysts
- Manage client relationships, both internally and externally
- Oversee the performance of the engineering team and ensure the team achieves both team and company performance objectives
- Provide strategic guidance and prioritization of work to ensure work is effectively supporting the goals of the assigned utility programs
- Provide opportunities for engineers to grow professionally
- Assure that engineering analysis is performed to the company's standard of quality and certainty to achieve a high level of client satisfaction
- Lead critical conversations with staff
- Implement resource planning in conjunction with program managers and regional director(s)
- Manage team projects and establish project scopes (deliverables, timeline, cost); basic understanding of contractual agreements
- Provide performance reports to program directors and consult on potential improvements to improve team and program performance
- Provide technical knowledge to explain complex energy issues to internal and external parties including customers and trade allies
- Develop strategies to achieve organizational goals; understand organization's strengths and weaknesses; analyze market and competition; identify external threats and opportunities; adapt strategy to changing conditions
- Synthesize complex or diverse information; collect and research data; use intuition and experience to complement data; design work flows and procedure
