Blockchain QA Engineer

Clearmatics is a blockchain protocol engineering company seeking a meticulous and proactive Blockchain QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of their blockchain technologies. The ideal candidate will have a detail-oriented approach, strong proficiency in QA methodologies, and experience in testing distributed systems.

Requirements

• A detail-oriented approach with a knack for problem-solving
• Proactive in learning and adapting to new technologies and environments
• Strong proficiency in QA methodologies, including end-to-end and performance testing
• Experience in testing distributed systems, particularly layer 1 blockchains and microservices
• Familiarity with network fundamentals and transport layer protocols
• Proficient in scripting (e.g., Python or JavaScript) to automate tests and processes
• Solid understanding of operating system concepts and the impact of resource constraints on system performance
• Comfortable with Linux environments and the Linux command-line interface
• Experience provisioning and maintaining cloud services such as AWS EC2, Google GCE, etc.
• Excellent written communication skills in English
