Patient Care Technician-PRN

The Patient Care Technician provides direct, non-invasive bedside care to patients, prioritizing and delivering basic patient care, including bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc. The position integrates company values into daily practice.

Requirements

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care
• Perform and document vital signs, intake and output, weights, specimen collections, etc.
• Transfer patients utilizing proper body mechanics and safe patient handling techniques
• Assist in preparing unit, patient rooms, and patient beds for receiving patient admissions
• Maintain a physical, social, and psychological environment conducive to providing maximal patient comfort and optimizing healing
