Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings for Heavy Equipment Mechanics at our Tilden Mine operation located in Ishpeming, Michigan. Repair and maintain a broad range of mechanical and electrical systems on mining mobile equipment.

Requirements

• Two-year Auto/Diesel or similar degree or certified Journeyman
• Ability to read blueprints, manufacturer manuals, and other instructional items
• Must be able to function in a fast paced environment
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts, overtime, nights, afternoons, weekends, and holidays
• Must be willing to work 12 hour shifts
