Program Officer, Malaria Program

The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low-and middle-income countries. The Program Officer, Malaria Program will lead CHAI's malaria control activities in Madang Province, working in partnership with the Provincial Health Authority and National Department of Health.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Public Health, Medicine, or related health field
• 3 years experience in malaria control or public health programs in resource-limited settings
• Proven experience in program planning, budgeting, and coordination at provincial level
• Strong understanding of PNG's health system and experience working with government health programs
• Knowledge of malaria epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment, and control strategies
• Strong data management and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in challenging field conditions
• Willingness to travel regularly to remote areas
