Job Description
The Life Enrichment Assistant is responsible for developing and coordinating activity programs for seniors, providing them with meaningful and life-enriching activities. The position involves recruitment, training, and coordination of volunteers, as well as cultivating staff involvement and providing a forum for residents to share their ideas and concerns.
Requirements
- Experience in creating and coordinating activities for older adults
- Ability to supervise, lead, and motivate people
- Experience in volunteer recruitment and training (preferred)
- Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision to the elderly
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (preferred two years of college specializing in recreational activities)
