Job Description
Cloudflare is seeking a Network Engineer to build and operate their large, resilient network infrastructure, powered by a global network of servers. The role involves technical operation, network monitoring, creating documentation, and collaborating with various teams. This position offers the opportunity to build a better Internet and contributes to Cloudflare's mission of protecting the internet from attacks.
Requirements
- Proficient in multiple network vendor operating systems (JNCIA, CCNA etc.) or higher
- Understanding of BGP, Knowledge of the OSI-model
- Experience writing scripts in Bash, Python, or other scripting language
- Experience in working as part of a team in a customer-facing role
- Ability to prioritise when faced with high pressure scenarios
- Understanding of anycast routing, Junos, IOS-XR,NX-OS, EOS and SONIC
- Good working knowledge of Linux system administration
