Chief Security Officer (CSO) - DevSecOps and Security Leader (worldwide, remote)

CloudLinux is seeking a Chief Security Officer (CSO) to lead the technical implementation of security measures across their infrastructure and software products. The CSO will be responsible for defining and executing a security strategy, integrating security into the development lifecycle, and ensuring cloud infrastructure is secured. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on product-led security, collaboration with teams, and proactive threat mitigation. The role is fully remote and requires experience with security-focused DevOps practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in information security
• Demonstrated success in implementing security programs or projects
• In-depth understanding of Linux/UNIX-based systems
• Solid programming/scripting abilities (e.g., C, PHP, Python, Golang, Bash, etc.)
• Strong understanding of network security principles
• Hands-on familiarity with modern DevOps environments
• Proven experience leading a security team or collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Experience in security research, vulnerability assessment, and hands-on penetration testing
• Strong communication skills in English
