Marine Safety Officer - Le Havre

The Marine Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international rules and regulations, and will assist in QHSSE responsibilities for assigned vessels. The role will involve management and follow-up of audits, monitoring of corrective actions, and participation in the Emergency Response Team. The ideal candidate will have officer licenses, training in ISM and ISO, and experience in the shipping industry.

Requirements

• Officer licenses
• Training in ISM and ISO Internal auditor
• CSO
• Accident investigation
• Fluent in English
• QHSSE management knowledge
• Previous officer experience or in shipping industry
• Effective verbal, written and presentation skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment
• Team spirit
• Physical ability to perform audit onboard
• No restriction to travel abroad
