Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in diagnosing and optimising performance across.NET and modern.NET applications. You will work closely with Engineering and DevOps teams to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency. You will also mentor engineers to elevate performance standards and contribute to architectural reviews and modernisation initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience with.NET Framework (4.x), C#, and performance diagnostics in production systems.
- Strong understanding of.NET Framework and.NET Core runtime behaviour, including performance tuning and concurrency.
- Experience using profiling and debugging tools such as PerfView, dotTrace, Visual Studio Profiler, and ETW.
- Hands-on experience optimising Entity Framework and database queries.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, performance baselining, and load testing tools (e.g. JMeter, k6).
