Underwriting Technician (Surety)

CNA seeks to hire an Underwriting Technician to perform routine underwriting procedures and provide high-level support to underwriters. The role involves processing new and renewal insurance applications, performing data entry, and issuing policies. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, some college preferred, and at least three years of related work experience.

• Knowledge of policy processing procedures and documentation
• Knowledge of applicable insurance products
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work at high levels of productivity and quality
• Ability to work independently on multiple tasks
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as other business-related software
