Job Description
Canadian Natural is offering a full-time Mechanical Engineering Student Internship project working with leading professionals in the oil and gas industry. The internship involves learning engineering principles, developing design skills, and gaining hands-on experience in areas like primary or secondary upgrades, support units, utilities, or tailings. The internship runs January or May 2026 and involves 4-8 months of on-site work and 4-8 months off.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or within one year of graduation
- Strong knowledge of basic design principles
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license or equivalent
- Legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
