Job Description
The Claims Representative I is responsible for investigating, negotiating and settling service claims for the organization. The role involves interpreting and applying coverages, communicating with clients and stakeholders, and supporting the organization's client service culture.
Requirements
- One year of experience in insurance or a related field
- Post-secondary education in insurance or a related discipline
- Provincial Adjuster Licence (Claim Adjuster and Personal Lines Autorité des Marchés Financiers)
- Working towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and Commercial Licence is an asset
- Experience working in a contact centre
- Basic knowledge of insurance and insurance claims, policy wordings, the vehicle repair process, provincial legislations and regulations
- Proficiency in both English and French
