The Regional Rehab Director (RRD) provides resources, training and support to facility rehabilitation departments to maximize patient outcomes, improve facility reputation, and ensure regulatory compliance. The RRD is responsible for fiscal management, clinical management, and human resource management, and must have excellent clinical and communication skills.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved curriculum in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensed and in good standing with appropriate licensing board in the state of Louisiana
- Certified or registered by the appropriate national professional association
- Minimum of five years of clinical practice as therapist (preferred)
- Able to work independently
- Exude professionalism in presentation
- Able to multitask
- Must be able to read, write, speak and communicate in the English language
- Able to make sound independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Patient care advocate
- Possess advances written and oral communication skills
- Possess basic computer skills
