Project Manager - Commercial General Contractor

This position is for a Project Manager within a full-service general contractor specializing in commercial construction. The role involves leading and overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with design, budget, schedule, and regulatory requirements. The PM will maintain communication with stakeholders and resolve issues proactively. This is a 2-3 day/week hybrid position with frequent travel.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in commercial construction projects (retail, restaurant, or similar preferred)
• At least 3 years in a Project Manager role in a commercial/general contracting environment
• Strong grasp of construction methods, materials, building codes, and regulatory environments
• Proven experience in budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and risk management
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation/communication skills
• Leadership ability
• Proficiency with PC / Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project) and project management systems (Procore experience is a plus)
• Strong organizational, time-management, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• High standards for quality, attention to detail, and accountability
• Commitment to enforcing jobsite safety standards
