Job Description
Coda is a rapidly growing commerce solutions provider focused on accelerating global growth for its partners. They are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of 6-12 engineers working on distributed systems and infrastructure, leveraging AWS cloud and innovative microservices. The role emphasizes team leadership, autonomy, and continuous improvement, with a focus on building a high-performing engineering culture.
Requirements
- Passion for building great products and software
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Experience in an agile environment
- 5+ years of experience as a successful software engineer
- 2+ years as a technical lead
- Strong experience with data technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL, message queues, etc.)
- Expert architectural skills
- Ability to work with data to drive decision making
- Experience with extremely high scale, distributed systems
- Deep knowledge of security or cryptography
- Machine learning and big data knowledge
- Experience building systems in the AWS cloud
