Senior Engineer - Hardware Modeling

Code Metal is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their growing team focusing on Hardware Modeling and integrating AI into the design process. This role involves building AI-powered pipelines to generate and refine SystemC models, assessing model quality, and integrating them with industry-standard EDA tools. The platform enables seamless source-to-source transpilation, helping teams translate and optimize software across programming languages and domains.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years industry experience with SystemC modeling and simulation
• Deep understanding of modeling tradeoffs at various abstraction levels
• Hands-on experience with Synopsys, Cadence or Siemens tools for modeling, HLS and simulation
• Knowledge of Verilog or VHDL
• Bonus: Experience with Formal Verification techniques
