Job Description
Reporting to the Nurse Supervisor, the Medical Assistant performs direct and indirect patient care activities, promoting patients' self-management and empowering patients/families to achieve maximum levels of wellness and independence.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED and/or graduated from a Medical Assistant Program
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Good communication skills
- Sound judgment and problem-solving ability
- Ability to prioritize
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods, lift 10-25 pounds, and perform frequent reading and computer use
