Cogeco Média is looking for a visionary and dynamic leader to take the reins of information and programming of its two flagship stations in Sherbrooke: 107.7 Estrie and Rythme 93.7 / 98.1.

Requirements

• More than five (5) years of experience in newsroom management or an editorial/programming management position, ideally in commercial radio.
• A true coach who places human leadership and benevolence at the heart of management, capable of creating a strong team spirit.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement clear, judicious, and in-line-with-current-trends editorial policies.
• Recognized expertise in coordinating all editorial activities of two radio stations with distinct formats.
• Ability to excel under pressure and availability for non-traditional hours required by the immediacy of radio media.
• Excellent knowledge of the socio-economic and cultural reality of the Estrie market is a major asset.
• Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources according to priorities and tight deadlines.
