DevOps - Platform and Reliability Engineer

Cognitive Space is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team and advance their CNTIENT platform with state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms. This role involves managing AWS infrastructure, maintaining Kubernetes and Docker clusters, and leading efforts in logging, monitoring, and alerting. The ideal candidate will provide Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and Platform Engineering principles, alongside expertise in greenfield initiatives.

Requirements

• US Citizenship, Permanent Resident (Green) Card
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 2-4 years of professional experience as a SRE, Platform Engineer, or Cloud Engineer
• Hands-on experience running and scaling apps with Kubernetes and Docker
• Strong knowledge of AWS
• Experience managing infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Familiarity with GitOps workflows and packaging apps using Helm
• Skills in observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki
• Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation and scripting
• Familiarity with government security and compliance frameworks
