Job Description
The Test Technician role involves performing setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of laser modules, electronic circuits, and mechanical assemblies. This includes working with optical components, preparing technical reports, and supporting Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives. The role requires a focus on quality, environmental responsibility, and adherence to company values.
Requirements
- Perform set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of laser modules, electronic circuits, and mechanical assemblies.
- Work with free-space optical components, testing and troubleshooting assemblies and/or final systems.
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions.
- Operate computer systems for testing and report writing.
- Use lasers, monochromators, optics, DMM/DVMs, arbitrary waveform generators, power supplies, oscilloscopes, LabView software, and other proprietary tools.
