Job Description
This Field Service Engineer role in Austin, TX involves providing technical support to customers regarding the performance of equipment, modifications, and upgrades. The engineer conducts onsite machine engineering, repairs, maintenance, training, and servicing of equipment. They also develop and certify testing procedures and serve as an expert on various field service processes. The position requires international travel up to 75% of the time.
Requirements
- Conduct on-site installation and repair of semiconductor test equipment.
- Respond to customer requests for technical service.
- Provide technical assistance to the internal Sales Department.
- Develop and certify standard testing procedures.
- Monitor product reliability and collect data for analysis.
- Coordinate and participate in conference calls.
