Job Description
Coinbase is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Controller, Revenue to oversee and optimize revenue recognition processes in a cryptocurrency environment. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, building scalable processes, and contributing to the company's innovative financial system. The role involves collaboration with various teams and a fast-paced, demanding work culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation required.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 4-5 years directly focused on revenue recognition (ASC 606/IFRS 15) within a financial institution.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with SOX compliance within a financial services context.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working in a high-growth startup or technology company.
