Job Description
Coinbase is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join the Platform Product Group. The team is building a trusted and scalable platform to maximize velocity, efficiency and quality for Coinbase’s growing onchain platform. They expect candidates to be passionate about the mission, eager to learn, and proactive in seeking feedback to improve. The role involves designing and implementing crypto data systems, mentoring others, and shaping the platform strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in backend software engineering using Golang or similar languages
- Experience in architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact
- Strong technical knowledge of building distributed systems that process massive scale
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-organizational initiatives and drive architectural cohesion
- Solid communication skills and ability to communicate to stakeholders with various technical and non-technical backgrounds
