Tax Analyst, Global Indirect Tax

Coinbase is seeking a highly motivated Tax Analyst, Global Indirect Tax to join our dynamic and fast-paced tax team. This role offers the opportunity to work in one of the most rapidly evolving industries, where every day brings new challenges and learning opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of global indirect tax experience, ideally with a mix at both a Big 4 accounting firm and in industry
• Significant experience with preparing and reviewing indirect tax returns, including VAT/GST returns including partial exemption
• Technical tax experience
• Excellent speaking and communication skills while working with business teams and explaining tax concepts to both tax and non-tax audiences
• Outstanding detail-orientation and process-orientation skills
• Collaborative and positive orientation
• Willingness to pivot and learn
• Excellent analytical skills, business partnering, problem solving and prioritization skills
• Strong work ethic and team player
