The MEP Package Lead will be responsible for the timely execution of the MEP scope, ensuring that the work is completed within budget and is fully compliant with Contract, Quality and Safety requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in engineering, or related field with a preference for electrical, civil or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years work experience with evidence of leadership on at least 2 large projects for MEP work design and construction.
- Technical and operational knowledge of MEP systems.
- Experience in organizing site construction forces involving LRT or Tramway MEP.
- Experienced in the specification of MEP components and interface with suppliers.
- Project management experience including development of construction plans, schedules and interface on a large multidiscipline team.
- Excellent written, verbal, communication and organizational skills.
- Valid Class 5 license; clean abstract preferred.
- Ability to negotiate the terrain of an in-process construction site, including climbing stairs and ladders, steep/ slippery terrain, walking, and working outdoors in all types of Edmonton weather and conditions.
